Welcome to the Researcher Wellbeing Cymru ‘Community Groups’.

These groups have been established to provide an inclusive and welcoming space where Doctoral Researchers can socialise, share experiences, and build connections with other students.

By joining this group, you are agreeing to:

  1. Treat all participants with respect and kindness.
  2. Be polite, inclusive and supportive of other DR students.
  3. Respect the privacy of other participants. Please do not share personal information or discussions outside of the group without consent.
  4. Report any inappropriate or offensive behaviour to the member of university staff running the group (please note, this is not the group lead – see staff contact details below).

If you have any questions or concerns about the groups, please contact [ insert name of contact at your university.]

Please remember that while the Researcher Wellbeing Cymru project aims to support the wellbeing of Doctoral Researchers, it should not be considered a replacement for qualified support. If you are experiencing mental health difficulties, it is a good idea to seek help as soon as possible.

Details of the centralised wellbeing and/or counselling services in your university can be found [here.] If you are experiencing problems which require their support, please contact them.
