This article provides advice on how to develop a constructive rapport with your supervisor.

Receiving feedback is an integral part of the learning process. It can be both frustrating and inspiring. International students were interviewed about their feedback experience. This study highlighted that the feedback process can be highly emotional, that cultural sensitivity is incredibly important for supervisors to consider, that each student will have different needs and that open communication about all of this is key.
